A sunset excursion through the flooded landscapes of Bonelli and Bastimento Island, immersed in the unique environment of the Po Delta. As you navigate through shimmering waters and reeds, you’ll uncover traces of the area's agricultural past and witness the impact of land subsidence, with a striking stop at the old agricultural warehouse of Bonelli Levante—once fertile farmland, now a lagoon mirror surrounded by reed beds.

After a walk along the river mouth and sandbar of Bastimento Island, the return to Barricata (weather permitting) offers a chance to gaze toward the horizon in search of sea turtles and dolphins gliding just above the water’s surface. A slow-paced, evocative experience where nature, memory, and the colors of the sunset come together.
